About this archive
The sites collected here were hosted on Angelfire, kens.net and WordPress.com between 1998 and 2010. Angelfire and kens.net dropped them years ago. What survives is what the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine happened to crawl, plus the two WordPress pages, which are still live.
How it was put together
Every surviving page was pulled from the Wayback Machine as the original bytes the host served at the time, then handled in two ways. The time capsule keeps the original HTML, stylesheets and images with one change only: the advertising code that Angelfire injected into every page has been removed. The reading layer is the same text converted to clean typography. Nothing in the text has been edited, corrected or softened; the author's spelling, opinions and youthful certainty are as they were.
What is missing
Some images and downloads were never captured by the crawler and are gone. Where a page referred to one of them, the reading version says so in place. The lost files:

Address
This archive lives at arajand.com/archives. The pages are plain files; if you want to cite one, the address in your browser is stable, and each piece also links to its Wayback Machine snapshot.
Dates
The Wayback Machine records when a page was captured, not when it was written; the date shown on each piece is the earliest capture, so pages may be older than their date.
